CEO of the Year
Three of the most important functions a company can perform are to provide a good return on investment, improve the services offered to customers, and ensure the welfare and performance of employees.
The CEO of the Year award is given by the International Charter to a chief executive who has encouraged these improvements, as well as:
- Guided a company through a difficult period, managing to continue improvements
- Brought about an innovative change in the market
- Acted in a consumer centric and ethical manner
CEOs are evaluated based on criteria including the performance of the company that they lead, the extent to which they have contributed to the company’s performance, overall leadership qualities and the esteem in which they are held by peers.
A suitable CEO demonstrates strong leadership qualities combined with the ability to conceive a strategy for long term growth and determination to drive related events.
